Most of the sessions I engineer are done at Inner Ear Studios in Arlington, VA. It’s a great studio with a low-key vibe, and an eclectic collection of high-end, low-end, and weird-end gear. It’s a fantastic place to make a record.
I am willing to travel and engineer at other studios, if it makes sense… sometimes it’s financially and practically easier to have one person travel instead of a whole band. I have engineered sessions at Tiny Telephone Studios in San Francisco, Sauna Studios in Copenhagen, The Monastery in Cincinnati, Griesgraber Studios in Brooklyn, and The Living Room Studios in New Orleans.
Rates:
There are as many ways to make a record as there are artists. I like to talk to the artist and then formulate a package rate for the project. Feel free to email or call me to start a dialogue.
